Are You Crazy?


Some concerned police officer sent me this ad from the Commercial Appeal. He said it was from the August 25th issue. Go figure . . . .

Are you sure that isn't one of those standardized "honesty tests" that used to be so fashionable back in the late 90's before they were discredited? If so, I'm glad they got rid of it. If not, well...

I'm sure it is the MMPI which has been widely used and revised for many years. It was in use when I studied it in Psychology 1101 in 1973 and is still being used today. I took one last January in order to run for Sheriff. I lied though, I really do hear voices telling me to take over the world!< G >

This all stems from a lawsuit that the City had to settle with an applicant who was rejected for some psychological reasons where apparently they should not have been denied - such as a medically controlable situation.
